¹⁰ And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest's office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)

¹⁰ Johanan was the father of Azariah, the high priest at the Temple built by Solomon in Jerusalem.

¹⁰ and Johanan became the father of Azariah (it was he who served as the priest in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem),

¹⁰ Johanan begot Azariah (it was he who ministered as priest in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem);
